Through my recent work with my family’s history, I have gained an immense respect for the value of family portraits. We need to make sure we continue photographing our families. Different combinations are wonderful to see - multiple generations, together and separate, large groups, brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, parents, husbands, wives, girlfriends, boyfriends, grandparents, great grandparents - take those photos before people die and as soon as new people are born. Find a way to preserve those memories.
